Mr and Mrs Hughes were at home whilst all works were undertaken.  They were the perfect customers keeping our ‘lads’ supplied with tea and biscuits during the two weeks we were on site. Works were completed as promised just in time for Christmas.

In the early part of  January we received our payment and a thank you card. The text read as follows:-

To Steve and all the men who worked so hard to make our bungalow look so nice. We have had many comments on how wonderful and such a good job you made.

We entirely agree.

Appealing to a discerning audience

McCann Homes created an exclusive lakeside development at Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes.

We won the contract because of our guaranteed, high-quality workmanship, as some of the houses where on the market for almost half a million pounds.

Our team decorated the houses as they were built. This 12 month development project included:

• seven, four-bedroom town houses
• eight semidetached homes; six had three storeys
• 77 luxury apartments

The quality and cleanliness of finish was vital to enable McCanns to produce accommodation designed to appeal to a discerning audience. Varnished wood had to be smooth and spotless, with perfectly clean lines where it met painted walls. All decorations had to be flawless to enhance the thoughtfully designed, contemporary kitchens, bathroom suites and vanity units, with Porcelanosa tiling.

Although a beautiful home, with period fixtures and fittings, Dove Cottage was in need of repair inside and out.

Using hydraulic access equipment and mobile towers, we removed ageing putty from the wooden window frames and made long-term, if not permanent, repairs before redecorating them.

Inside, all furniture, fixtures and fittings were fully protected as the our team carefully worked their way through the house repairing and redecorating. Within three weeks the entire house was fully restored and gleaming.

This house in Winslow, situated in the Buckinghamshire countryside, was in need of extensive external repairs. It included dilapidated outhouses, badly cracked rendering, failing gutters, exposed damaged woodwork where paint had flaked away and unkempt doors and windows.

We set to work cleaning all the surfaces, including rainwater systems, removing plant and fungal growth, repairing cracks and sanding surfaces in preparation for painting. When the external had been thoroughly mended and cleaned, our team applied protective coatings before the final layers of specialist paints.
