Which? have recently launched a pilot scheme to find reputable traders who they can endorse on their website. ESK were invited to participate and, after completing a rigorous assessment have passed with flying colours. We are, at present, the only Which? Trusted trader painting and decorating contractor in Milton Keynes.

Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme

ESK are pleased to announce that Adam Milne has passed his ‘Site Supervisor Safety Training (SSSTS)

Adam is one of our many success stories. He joined us when he was 18, attending Bedford College where he gained his NVQ 1 & 2 and then going on to take his NVQ 3 which he achieved in November 2009.

Working alongside our more ‘mature’ painters and supervisors he has gained a wealth of experience and confidence and felt that this year he was ready to take his Site Supervisor test. We are pleased and proud to annouce that he has passed with flying colours.

Qualifications

We are proud to announce that after completing their Health & Safety tests , obtaining their NVQ’s both Aaron Paris and Kyle Major are now the proud owners of CSCS skills card. This now means that ESK Decorating Contractors has a workforce that is 100% compliant to CSCS. Well done to both lads…

ESK Awarded Gold Status

ESK are awarded the certificate of commitment “Gold Award” under the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).

CSCS or Construction Skills Certification Scheme, to give it its full title, is the competence card scheme for Construction.

The scheme’s objectives are to improve skill levels and competency across the industry in order to reduce accidents, ill heath and fatalities and to improve productivity.

For us to have this award it shows current and future clients that we will provide a high quality service and it gives them piece of mind that all our workforce possess the skills to carry out the work competently and safely.

Achieving “Gold” recognises that 75% of our workforce are fully qualified whilst the other 25% are working towards their NVQ’s. Once our trainees have completed their NVQ’s we will be applying for “Platinum” status…..Watch this space…
